Dress Code and Etiquette

The following rules are intended to guide Members, Guests and Visitors. They have been made to ensure the enjoyment of the club and its facilities by everybody, and that no player or guest is inconvenienced or upset by another's actions or appearance.

Clubhouse

  • Collared shirts must be worn, tucked in at all times.
  • No beach, sports tops, swim or gym wear to be worn. If you do choose to wear demin or jeans, they must be smart, worn properly around the waist, and not ripped or torn. Denim jeans should not be worn to presentation evenings and major club events.
  • Golf shoes are not allowed in the Bar or Restaurant.
  • All headwear must be removed on entering the Clubhouse.
  • All shorts must be knee length, tailored with socks pulled up.
  • Tracksuits may not be worn in the Clubhouse.
  • Jeans, denim clothing and collarless T-shirts are not permitted on the course at any time. Ladies may wear sleeveless shirts provided they are tailored.
  • Collared shirts must be worn when playing the course. They should be tucked in at all times.
  • Tracksuits are not acceptable on the course.
  • Golf shoes (soft spikes only) must be worn at all times when playing or practicing (no training shoes or street footwear permitted).
  • All headwear must be worn the correct way round and removed on entering the Clubhouse.
  • All shorts must be knee length, tailored with socks pulled up.

Mobile Phones

  • Use of mobile phones is not permitted in the Clubhouse, so please proceed to the foyer, or balcony to receive or make a call.  Please ensure that the phone is switched to silent at all times.  Operation of a mobile phone on the Course is only permitted in the case of an emergency.

Club staff are authorised to approach Members and Visitors if the dress regulations are not being adhered to.
