OVERVIEW
The Patrick Merrigan designed Woodenbridge Golf Course is an 18-hole 71-par parkland course, where the Avoca & Aughrim rivers come into play on no less than 10 holes. Strategic bunkering, varied shot-making and memorable par threes reward accuracy, while the finishing stretch keeps every round engaging until the final putt.

Diamond Trophy
The J B Carr Diamond Trophy was established by Woodenbridge Golf Club in 1996. The event has effectively become the Senior Club Championship of Ireland, for men 60yrs and over, with players from up to 200 clubs from every corner of Ireland participating.
Mary McKenna
Diamond Trophy
Arguably Ireland’s greatest female golfer, Mary McKenna MBE is our patron and honorary member who supports this tournament every year. Launched in 2014 by the ladies of Woodenbridge Golf Club, it provides lady golfers of 60yrs and over, with an opportunity to become Provincial or All Ireland Champions in this very prestigious tournament.
