2015 Finals MMK Diamond Trophy
The finals of the 1st Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy were held in Woodenbridge Golf Club on Friday, Saturday and Sunday 11th, 12th and 13th of September 2015.
Our Lady Captain Paula Tanham welcomed Mary McKenna MBE who attended all cermonies and matches over the weekend and was thrilled with the whole event.
Entries came from all four corners of Ireland, culminating to the four Provincial finalists, Leinster - Woodenbridge Golf Club, Ulster - Malone Golf Club, Connaught - Roscommon Golf Club and Cahir Park Golf Club - Munster.
The welcoming ceremony was held Friday evening, hosted by Lady Captain Paula Tanham and President Donal Duffy with our local piper Denis New marching all four teams across the bridge in Woodenbridge. Then it was the turn of each team manager to introduce their teams and then the draw was held.
The semi finals were Malone vs Roscommon and Woodenbridge vs Cahir Park.

There was a gala dinner to round up the whole weekend and great celebrations and freindships were forged. What a great start to a fabulous competition.
