13th September 2026 3rd & 4th Play off and Final Results
Sunday finals day dawned with beautifull weather, perfect for excellant golf and our finalists provided a magnificent display of amateur all Ireland golf.
Final match was Cahir Park from Munster and Loughrea from Connaught.
All five matches were nail biting as the afternoon drew to a close the result was two all and the fifth match went down the 18th with a huge crowd supporting both teams.
Cahir Park emerged the victors and were delighted to become Mary McKenna Diamond Trophy Champions 2026 on their third visit to the finals in Woodenbridge over the ten years. (4th 2015, 3rd 2022) so third time lucky.
Only thing left now is to celebrate at the Gala Dinner for all the teams which is in the ckubhouse and the presentation of prizes with our patron Mary McKenna MBE who has really enjoyed meeting everyone and was delighted with the comraderie and the standard of golf played all weekend.

The early match was the third and fourth place playoff. The two teams were Bangor Ulster and Kilmashogue Leinster. All five matches were played in a most competitive manner with Bangor GC winning 3/2 to achieve 3rd place and Kilmashogue 4th place.
12TH September 2026 Two Semi Finals Result
All teams were blessed with very pleasant weather conditions on saturday morning.
First match was Cahir Park Munster vs Bangor Ulster. Cahir Park came through as victors with a 3/1 win and the last match called in.
